I don't have a garage, and was wondering what you did to preserve the paint? John Adams June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply Does this guy live inside his car? Ira Blake June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply I have a 98 Vette, same motor, two transmission rebuilds, one drive shaft tube, 575,386 Miles, still rolling strong. John L June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply The owner must go from FL to NY like every month! Larry Tallis June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply Check out the update of this 2000 Corvette. It now has 710,000. pellergin June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply If a car can win its class in the 24 hours of Le Mans, what's stopping its street legal counterpart from lasting over 200,000 miles? I'm curious as to when the transmission was replaced. Xtwonine June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply I have a 97 Chevy Blazer. 325,500+ miles rottenrowdie June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply I wonder what its worth if you tried to sell it? My guess would be somewhere between 6 or 7 grand. Am I way off? Insoo Kim June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply I must say, American cars are usually pieces of crap but 600,000 miles is pretty good even if they are mostly highway miles. The corvette was probably well engineered anyways, one of the few cars made from aluminum also. AnthonyJ350 June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply It really looks like you take care of your vehicle and you drive it and enjoy it, props to you! Also a testament to GM's powertrain, which I believe is one of the most durable out there (talking about their small block gasoline V8's). vintageracer25 June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply I respect you for "keeping up" the car. I guess it was a good one from the factory… but it really comes down to a caring owner. Thumbs up! mjr102395 June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply Obviously the odometer has been tampered with or the computer that works that is fried. A gm with 650 000. PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULEASE studio7 June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply Sorry put in wrong amount meant to say 650,000 miles!!!!!! studio7 June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply The Corvette V8 Engine is bulletproof…unlike a ferrari, lambo or other overpriced sports car. An awesome 2000 Corvette with 250,000 miles on it…what other sports car can do that? OldSport June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply It's a Chevy v8. Nuff said. Timothy Joyce June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply Corvettes are great year round vehicles. Parts are cheap and easily accessible, easy to work on, 1997 and newer get over 30mpg on the highway, limited slip rear, and lots of power! TitleMine June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply Three BMW owners watched this video while waiting for their $2000 bi-annual service. 1000hpHONDA June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply My 94 Accord still going at 179k, even though I rev at anything that moves and floor it everywhere. Luckily, nothing has had to be replaced other than recommended maintenance. I wonder what the owner of the Corvette has had to replace in terms of non maintenance and what the costs has been in total? Any car will keep going and going provided you keep replacing what breaks. Regardless, that kind of mileage on a sports car is impressive. iceman2266 June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply Auto or manual? I guess you are tired changing gears if' it's manual 🙂 dlanes June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply Driving on the highway doesn't put a lot of wear and tear on a car especially where it doesn't snow. ｓｕｎｆｉｓｈ June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply is it still under warranty? Melinda Manthey June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply His experience is not the norm. Reason for the video..It is an exception to the rule. Rebecca DePanicis June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply Bravo. Drive and enjoy. And nowhere did I hear this beauty was never driven over 70 or on a track. Mr76Blitz June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply GOOD MAINTENANCE DUDE!! 😡 David Pelizzari June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply I don't doubt it. With the transmissions causing the engines to only turn half the revolutions the older cars and good lubricants that are used in the engines its just no wonder they last so long they're so much money wasted on trading cars but we do it everytime Eric needs washing. Mike Cleveland June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply I love people who are amazed when cars rack up miles without any major maintenance. I had a 2001 Durango, and everybody else I knew with that body style never got them past 100k miles. I was the original owner, I beat the living hell out of that truck. I towed often, drove it off road, and raced my other idiot friends. I was in high school. It wasn't until 250,000 miles that little things started to go. U-joint, rusted drums, wheel bearing, ABS, etc. It wasn't worth the money to keep it up at that point so I donated it, but I never had a single unexpected problem in 250,000+ miles. Jason Hill June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply I run a blog called "High Mile Club" at wordpress and I'd love to talk with Mark about his car. If he's interested I'd love to talk to him about it. There has to be some history with him and the car. And maintenance. You could probably write a book about that. jonathan medellin June 28, 2017 Log in to Reply just about to hit the 100,000 mile mark on my 2002 C5 and I got it with 1,500 miles on it , good to know it'll go the distance because I don't plan on getting rid of it, it's been my dream car since I was in high school and as for the "penis" joke samniss if someone's gotta say that that's pretty much jealousy speaking Add a Comment Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
